I am a Lecturer
in the Department of Experimental Psychology, University of Cambridge.
I have a background in both psychology (BSc and MA) and computer
science (my PhD is in Robotics and the Neural Basis of Cognition).
My primary research interests are learning and memory. My approach
involves the development of neural systems level connectionist
models which I then test using lesion-based experiments in rats.
My particular focus over the past few years has been the role
of perirhinal cortex in perception and memory, and the mechanisms
underlying perceptual learning.
