Research interests: Mechanisms of learning and memory. My research combines investigations of the basic processes involved in learning and memory in nonhuman animals and interdisciplinary work with Neuroscientists and Ethologists. The specific forms of learning that I study are associative learning, configural learning and perceptual learning. I am interested in both the conceptual or psychological mechanisms that underlie these forms of learning and their neural bases.
